HIM Specialist
Cooper Thomas, LLC seeks HIM professionals for opportunities in Birmingham, AL. As a member of the Identity Management (IM) Data Quality team for a national health care network, you will use investigative methods and automated tools to resolve duplicates and exceptions, and perform relevant edits on patient identity fields. You will also work with medical centers, system developers, and business owners to improve the validity of IM information, design system enhancements, and implement process improvements to support identity management.

Skills:
- Experience in identity management
- Familiarity with IM systems
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Outstanding computer skills
- Knack for communicating clearly, promptly, and diplomatically
- Ability to coordinate activities among various individuals, groups, and sites within a large organization

Applicants must have:
- Bachelor’s degree
- RHIA or RHIT (RHIA preferred)
- Relevant experience in the health care field
